WHY IS THE EDVYCE APP TEMPORARILY BEING HOSTED ON WIX SPACES?

Edvyce is being ported over as a native app in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.  In the meantime, we are using the Spaces by Wix app as a prototyping environment.  Your login credentials for Spaces by Wix will also work on the new native app when it launches.

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO ACCESS EDVYCE?  VIA THE WEBSITE OR VIA THE APP?

You can choose to get to Edvyce using the website at https://edvyce-app.com (either desktop or smartphone) or via the app (via smartphone or tablet) currently being hosted within Spaces by Wix.  Posts and comments made at the website will automatically sync with the app and vice versa.  Images for uploading do load noticeably faster via the website, at least currently.

AM I ABLE TO POST IMAGES, OR GIFS, OR VIDEOS?

Yes, yes, and yes.  Click on the plus (+) sign on the lower left of the screen to show media options and then select what you would like to include.  Be aware that with Apple’s rules, you may have to manually add selected images you are allowing the app access to or to make it easier, you can allow it to see all of your images in your Settings so that the app is able to see them.

WHY IS THERE SOMETIMES A DELAY WHEN I TRY TO POST AN IMAGES?

Images are drawn from your photo roll.  If you have a lot of photos and videos, it can take the system a little while to pull all of these in (up to 30 seconds at times).  Be patient and once the images load, you can select them for posting.

WILL I BE ABLE TO ACCESS AND REVIEW OLD CASES FROM THE PREVIOUS SYSTEM?

The case material from the old system is being prepared for porting over to this new platform.  We anticipate that it may be until early 2022 when this will be fully completed.

IF I ONLY WANT TO VIEW CASES FOR MY PROFESSIONAL SOCIETY INSTEAD OF EVERY CASE, HOW DO I DO THAT?

You can click on "All Categories" to select only your society's cases.  It will remember your selection until you quit or logout of the app.

NOTIFICATIONS: HOW CAN I ADJUST WHEN THE APP IS NOTIFYING ME OF NEW ACTIVITY?

You can click on your profile and scroll down to Notifications where you can toggle your notifications.  This can be done on the app or if you're on the website, click on your Profile and then Settings to set your notifications.
